Thick smoke: CJ Stroud red flags coming out - "not an easy guy to coach," "CJ Stroud...giving the Carolina Panthers pause"

I read this article yesterday and it seems like a steaming pile of feces. Kinda like mudslinging in politics.

If they prefer Young over Stroud, fine. But don't unfairly rub this 21 year old kid's face in the mud and try to ruin his reputation.

This happens often / many drafts and it's just gross. Someone is trying to cause him to drop to increase their chance of landing him... Just really shitty.

That Manning thing is so dumb, the CJ narrative is bizarre. The Texans being dumb and passing on him doesn’t need to be a reason to have to smear Stroud. My least favorite part of draft season.

The whole not having a father available through his teenage years was the dumbest poo I've ever read.  Anyone heard of Lebron James?  He did ok without his dad being available....

Update

I’d give CJ bonus points for skipping the Manning self-love fest. Bunch of punks who forced their way out of SD and into NY. That’s a much bigger issue than not going to their camp.

The Father thing came from Deon Sanders btw, and no one questioned his intelligence except for fans that have done zero research on the s2 test.

    • Those TDs passes you saw Sunday is what I think you will see bryce at his best. Those touch passes he can lob to receivers over the defenders heads. Long as receivers can get significant separation and bryce does overthrow those passes which we seem him do a lot. He is never gonna be a guy that can throw a laser into a receivers chest with a defender draped on him downfield unless its short pass or within a couple feet from the endzone.
    • If teams play us honestly and take that deep stuff away we may be able to operate good enough underneath to counter that. It is about time we started trying to force them to respect it.    But I think people should enjoy the win for two weeks because what’s in front of us doesn’t scream playoffs to me. It would be shocking if we swept TB. They aren’t Atlanta.  And even if we sweep there can be no let down.    I saw the stat of our record coming off a loss. Pretty good. What would it be coming off a win lol? Without looking, it has to at least be pretty upside down  (I count it to be 2-4).
    • Win the division from Bucs........BY implodes in the playoff worse than Delhomme and we finally get rid of BY as our QB. Get ready for 2026 with momentum for once.
