I've looked at several analyses, and Young is a better tight window thrower than CJ is a scrambler, inside or outside the pocket. C.J. is the best pure thrower in the draft, and that is his claim to fame. It's no small thing, but he's closer to just an average guy pertaining to pocket awareness and the ability to extend plays. Bryce does not have an issue with throwing from the pocket or throwing into tight windows. That's not a weakness of his in the slightest.  I don't see why anyone that's actually been researching these guys would have a problem with admitting these things.

Not in the slightest? That’s where his LSU , UGA and Texas tape come into play.

Fitterer said Matt Corral looked like a different man, very positive, upbeat. Said he looks like a good 6'2" 220lbs now.

That's sounds like a bigger lion to me? Stronger? Better than his college self, NFL facilities, weights, film room, one year ahead?! plus andy dalton.

We can draft AR and take that great S2 recognition score and that big arm and big body and 4.4 speed and continue to roll in the way of the Panther.

BY obviously would be the runt of the pack and therefore may be dinner. I smell chicken!

Sure thing bud. Removing qb or keeping them on their teams? I’d absolutely take Tenn and Texas roster over Bamas, sans qb. Including Georgia - that’s 3 ROSTERS MINUS QB that we can argue. What would happen if you threw Young onto the preschool for qb that is OSU?

I’ll be honest Eric, I have no idea why me saying I didn’t think Young was surrounded by scrubs is such a trigger for you. I also have no idea why you keep bringing in Ohio State as I literally said Strouds offense was better than Young’s.

But it is ok to disagree. I don’t think Young was surrounded by scrubs, but you don’t agree, and that’s cool.

I mean nothing against anyone personally but yeah it is ok to disagree - that’s the beauty of sports. I objectively hold each player to the same standard and compare circumstance etc. Agree to disagree and that’s not a bad thing!

    • With Schoen and Dan Morgan being tight I’d figure we knew this was coming and since he is released, Dan didn’t bite.    But, a quick search says this is at least 80% cap related. They have No cap space and save 8 or 9 million with releasing him.  He has been a captain his entire time there. 145 tackles this year.  They are picking 5th with a new staff and looking at Styles. Hitting that age 30 season and had a disc issue last year that did not require surgery.  I haven’t really watched him play but he activated the antennae.
    • OK, we are letting our top RB go.  We have Chuba, Etienne, and Brooks.  Imagine a player who could LEGITIMATELY play the slot and back up at RB?  I am sure he'd be a special team player as well.  I noticed him at the combine, and thought, "Here is a late rounder who could stand out as a slot and provide depth at RB. Without further ado....(I know one Huddler who might be able to tell us more about this guy): Navy running back/wide receiver Eli Heidenreich headlined the 2026 NFL Combine for the Midshipmen, running an official 4.44-second 40-yard dash and recording 16 reps on the bench press. Recognized as a versatile, "Swiss army knife" offensive weapon, Heidenreich solidified his draft stock as a potential day three target.    Eli Heidenreich (RB/WR - Navy) 2026 Combine Performance: 6'0" 200 lbs.   40-Yard Dash: 4.44 seconds. 10-Yard Split: 1.55 seconds. Vertical Jump: 35.5 inches. Broad Jump: 10' 0". Bench Press: 16 Reps. Highlights: Showcased as a premier receiving threat from the backfield, having left Navy as the program's all-time leader in receiving yards (1,994). High character.  Smart.  Maybe, just maybe....
    • These refs are horrible.  They definitely got money on this game lol.
