TD Barrett (Former Madden World Champion) did a video yesterday on playing as Bryce Young in the new roster update. It's kind of fun to see what our roster potential could be in video game dream land. I enjoy this kid's content, but that does not mean you will. Also, if you find the banter at the begining annoying.... skip to the 14:07 mark. Both games have wild endings.

Legit speed threats on the outside, big body targets all over the middle and a legit dual threat RB out of the backfield.  The possession type guys are gonna feast.

Random thought of the day: If they don’t incorporate Hayden Hurst with “Triple H” or “The Game” or play the DX intro music, an opportunity will be lost.

I feel like Bryce would be the type of QB who doesn't translate particularly well to Madden since what makes him truly special is his brain/processing...and that's essentially irrelevant in Madden since the player does all the decision making.  Otherwise, Young doesn't have a particularly strong arm, isn't the most accurate, nor is he the most athletic.  Anthony Richardson would be a fun Madden QB...albeit probably infuriating both for the player using him (when he sails a wide open pass) and for his opponent (when he scrambles for 200 yards a game).

(Admittedly I haven't watched the video in the OP yet)

Did they add him to 23 for real or is this a custom character?

Won’t see the real video game version of Bryce until the new madden drops in August. These are just player created mods.

EA added first round picks in  the latest roster update.

They only did 1st round picks though. They are in Madden Ultimate Team Mode as well.

PS5 a guy did all the draft picks. And all FA for all teams. Been running with the new depth chart so when the new come out hit the ground running. Then play with IND play book(there playbook all shotgun and single back. Looks to be a fit) Denver playbook on D.

    • I think the first 3 picks will be defensive players this time. At least that's how the draft is falling this year. I would not be shocked at all if our 1st pick is the number one safety in the draft. It appears he will be right there for the taking.
    • Man oh man. That 8-9 record without a playoff berth puts at 13 if I recall, ahead of both Atlanta and TB with their 8-9 records, due to our weaker SOS.   We might have been in range to deal for that guy. I hope he doesn’t last to 8. And I hope some AFC team picks him.
    • Cool. I am not wanting to debate or argue it. It is mostly my preferences. But a couple of things:  I just don’t think he sees the middle of the field well. But besides that I would rather spend a 1st round pick at different offensive positions if we went offense, otherwise we have neglected defense something fierce the last few years. Last 1st rounder was Horn. That’s like 5 years ago now.   Investments… gee the last 4 drafts we have used a 2, a 2, a low 1st and a top ten pick on WR. Bryce has been here three years, three of those picks were specifically for him.  And assets, I don’t think you are counting the haul we gave for the QB position. That counts and it was huge.   Add that up and add the Burns cap space we freed up when we traded him. We bought two guards and used the savings on them. Not on the defense.  I mean, that is a lot of investment in the offense when you put all that in a sack and weigh it.    peace. Appreciate your post.
