Is there anybody left from.Proehl's time here, though?

Jake and Steve are involved, if you count his time as a position coach probably more. Staff and scouts are your thing so I'll defer to you on that. It's a small world especially when it comes to 32 football teams in a country of hundreds of millions of people

Austin just isn't an NFL talent. He has good hands and he's fundamentally sound he's just not going to be able to get any separation at the NFL level.

Yeah, modern NFL offenses put a premium on being able to get open. So you either better be an extremely elite route runner or an elite athlete. It's tough to get a lot of interest if you can do one of those at an elite level.

Think about how many "possession" WR's from 20-30 years ago wouldn't be able to find a place in the modern NFL.

Probably a nepotism favor

That’s a hell of an accusation seeing as how Proehl hasn’t been connected to this organization for quite a while.

If you ever watched the kid play you know he has something. He likely won’t make the roster but he isn’t a bum.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
