If you look at the last 15 games, his finishing greatly improved. The first ten games, his stats at the rim were awful. 

He was over 70% over the last part of the season and at 42% counting fast breaks in the first part of the season.

This team is cursed. If we had even been in the position to draft Wemby, he would've been the sure-fire reincarnation of Shawn Bradley. After a lifetime of abuse and disappointment from this organization, what more could you expect out of fans?

As a hornets fan I’m assuming we made the wrong pick. Whatever truly happened with the Brandon miller case, I hope he learned his lesson. I hope he puts the right people around himself. 
 

I wanted Scoot. Still want scoot. We drafted off need not talent. BM has talent but most of the scouts I read had Scoot by far a better prospect. I’d love to be wrong. I’m under the impression that lamelo ball can make any player better. Fingers crossed

No doubt this pick will be added to the list of misses but this draft is the extreme rare case where we miss out on the top pick Wemby who is a once in a generation talent and proceed to pass on the next elite next level type talent in Scoot. It’s a double screw job.

Hard to describe. When you watch him, you can tell he wants to be the best and just has that IT factor. Super explosive and athletic and can dunk on 6'9" defenders. While I don't think Miller is going to be bad and is going to be solid player, I think Scoot has that mentality you want on your team. 

I also like watching basketball for entertainment 1st and love watching those kind of players so I am biased.

      Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.

      I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
