Evero's defense will be fast and aggressive.

Evero is already making a lot. Money won't be why he jumps, it will be to be a HC. Then again being DC on this staff might be better than HC of some teams.

Hopefully he is choosy. No need to jump ship to a terrible team and blow your HC chances.

I would have felt better if we would have at least signed a proven cb on the opposite side of horn and also horn HAS to stay healthy all season or yeah.....there's just a lot of questions on the backend of our D but a good pass rush will help a lot in that dept.

Our only hope to delay it is 1) There are no good looking HC openings next year and 2) Tepper throws money like Detroit did with Ben Johnson.

Money isn't the end all be all. Ambition would be for a Head Coaching job. Say something like Seattle comes up, you'd take that over the increased pay to stick around just due to their program alone.

I think Tuttle will play better than expected, and one of either, Haynes or Barno will play above expectations, i think Jaycee takes another step as well.

Crazy excited, and i plan to drive up to Charlotte for a few games this year, hope to see some of you out there!

Yeah, Tuttle seems to be the forgotten man around here right now. Maybe somebody needs to find a fluff piece to get some excitement for the guy,

    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
    • I don't really follow the team anymore due to a variety of reasons and consequently have largely stopped posting but I agree that this is a lovely website and community. This forum probably kept me around for years longer than I would've stuck otherwise because of how difficult it was to stop checking multiple times a day. Especially appreciate how lax the moderation tends to be compared to a lot of places, the crew here does a great job. Out of curiousity I decided to try making a new account (solely for testing purposes) to see what exactly is wrong with the sign up process. The issue seems to be that it never sends you an account verification email, thus making it impossible to complete registration. This is likely something to do with the email server upstream, hope it gets fixed. Also, lol
