yeah, some years it really works to our advantage.  Not so much this year.  But it's great to get some northern team to come to BOA early in the year.   would have been great to open up at home vs Chicago or GB for example.

Yup. Chicago is blissfully practicing indoors. If we got them on the road in BOA 1 it would be a thrashing.

I kind of wish they had these practices at night. It has to be hell for these players practicing in this heat. This has been the hottest summer on record. Sucks for them but I understand that football you must be prepared to play in any conditions.

Eh, it’s only 89 there today. I don’t think it’s gotten past 93 since camp started.

There were times in the 80s when it was over 105 this time of year.

Still hot, but could be worse for them.

He's not though.

At the risk of de-railing this thread, He hasn't built anything, he just buys his way into getting credit. He didn't make paypal, someone else did, he didn't design anything for tesla, two other guys did, his vegas tunnel is a shitshow that is pointless and stupid, and then he bought twitter, ran it into the ground, and is trying to rebrand it as 'X' for some edgelord 14 year old reason.

His father owned an emerald mine so he didn't even get started on his own.

He is worse than Steve Jobs in terms of taking credit for other people's work.

Bingo you’ve done your research I see.

Any one else in SE North Carolina that uses OTA television getting concerned about the transmitter tower work that has effectively removed our local Fox affiliate from the air ?  This is work that was supposed to improve the signal and was supposed to be done by now.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WSFX) – Repair work being performed at WSFX’s transmitter site could impact our over-the-air signal this week.
Crews will begin the work late Monday night. They will work to complete the repairs as quickly as possible to limit viewer interruption.
The repairs are necessary due to damage to the antenna caused during Hurricane Florence in 2018.

I live in Wilmington and hadn't heard about this. I only unroll the antenna for football, so I haven't noticed anything. I hope it works though, Fox is always shakier than the other OTA channels for me.

Schedule makers boned us. We get all the teams that should be about as good week 1 as week 10 pre-bye, and we get the teams that need more time like the Colts and Texans later on our schedule.

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
