The Panthers have been rebuilding for over half a decade and people say to be patient. fug that.

OL was very disappointing today. Okay to acknowledge Jets have a great D line as well but they straight up no showed today. They should get an ass chewing. We also saw how important Miles Sanders will be for us this year.

Don’t forget, that not only is the Jets defense very good, they also are one week ahead due to the early start for the HoF game.

Honestly bringing back Jordan on the OL was egregious.

I understand 99.9 % of you are having a meltdown over the O Line ..  but why I’m not hearing just as much concern over the defense baffles me . Time of possession in the first half was crucial. 
Yes the offense never moved the ball,, but the defense was not giving us any 3 and outs. 
 

Even with with 80-100 players playing, giving up 27 points was embarrassing.  
 

Glad this was preseason.

Corbett was not active and I do not think Moten played.  So it is difficult to say right now.  Christensen in my opinion, is not a G--but we shall see.  Mays played well, fwiw, when I watched him--but he was playing RT.

What really caught my ear was that He also noted that our offensive line seemed to struggle against stunts that the Jets Defensive Line was rushing with. It’s exactly what I just saw in the preseason game as they couldn’t protect Bryce Young.  It’s concerning to me that they didn’t learn anything from the Wednesday practice.  
 

Yes it’s preseason but you want to see growth, and learning from mistakes. Jets have a top 5 defense but I expected more from the OL today.

This was something that caught my eye early (Jets and stunting DL) and was excited to see how Campen would coach the OL up to handle it going forward. The league is a copycat league, and the Jets showed success early on using stunts to get to Bryce.

It looks like teams are content to use stunts to whack Bryce as he holds on to the ball in the same way they were okay with defenders "risking" roughing the passer penalties against Cam.

Very eager to see how Reich, Caldwell, Brown, McCown, and Campen address that, especially if we see more of it in the next preseason game. I could see teams using stunts to create pressure up the middle so that Bryce is unable to step up like we would scream for the Panthers' defense to do vs. Brees.

The even more concerning thing to me about that early stunt working was that I happened on Ickey and BC.  I'd expect that kind of free pressure from the right side with Corbett being out, but damn...  Ickey got his ass whooped tonight.

Also, didn't see who we started at RG, but I saw McCray in on the second drive.  I think when they showed the highlights where Bryce got hit late, it looked like Jordan was the guy who started.  Wtf happened to Cade Mays running with the 1s?

Them stunting has nothing to do with Bryce holding onto the ball. He actually got rid of the ball very quickly but offensive line couldn’t give him any time to let routes develop downfield

If Ickey has a day like today we're not going to win, but he also looked pretty bad last preseason so I'm not worried yet.
