Bill Voth's tweet is exactly the type of mentality I'm sick of hearing from this organization

WTF?!? What do you mean this year is not about playoffs or winning? Why bring in this coaching staff then? Why trade our first round pick next year then? I;m so sick of hearing this bullshit man I hope that's not what is going on inside the building Voth is always plugged in and I'm honestly severely disappointed if this is how they are treating it for real

I don't like it either but he's 100% correct

The Detroit Lions lived this life style last year and are low key NFC favorites now 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lions also and a multi time Pro Bowler with 70 starts under his belt come in to steer the ship.

and they weren’t installing a new scheme.

What does that matter? They started off slow and finished hot with their coaches is what I’m getting at. We don’t know what we have because it’s not November yet so you can sit back and watch till we get there.

I mean there is a difference between a 70 start multi pro bowler being inserted into an established offense vs a rookie QB in a brand new scheme.

the two things are pretty different and you are painting Carolina as in a similar spot.  Those are very different

    • Agreed. I think Canales's primary objective in everything he does is to make the team better.  I don't think he has any particular attachment to Bryce.  He was brought in, in part, to give Young every chance to succeed.  And despite assertions to the contrary, Bryce has improved.  Whether he improves enough to keep him after this season depends on a number of factors, but I don't think Canales would hesitate to upgrade if he saw a chance to improve at QB.   For example, I think if Bryce struggles this year, but the rest of the team performs well, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see us take a qb in the first or second round.
    • So what package would you all have been willing to put together for Garrett if he were offered to the Panthers? Because we'd have to let go of someone with J. Verse level talent. Oh man Myles and DB with the rest of this line would have been nasty lol.
