He convinced the Dolphins to give up a 7th rounder for Greg Little

And while he swung and missed on Bridgewater he got a 6th round pick for him (better than nothing)

That we got anything at all for a Little and Anderson still amazes me.

Talking about some of the releases, Mike Kaye took a look at Brandon Smith.

Kaye seems to think the switch to 3-4 hurt him. That plus some of the offseason additions like kKamu Grugier-Hill outperformed him.

In fairness, there were people this time last year excited about Rhule+McAdoo+ Baker/Sam.  It’s what fanbases do.

Another one than those two. This one manages to last a pretty good while before he goes off the rails and gets banned. Last time he was @DMathematics and before that he was several incarnations that start with SJT.

There is quite a few who do this kind of thing.

Rhule thought he could win with talent that would be 2nd, 3rd or not even make the roster on other teams. 
He was a horrible talent evaluator.

I tried to be. Lasted a couple weeks.

I forced enthusiasm and I think a lot did. We were desperate for something good.

I haven't had to force any enthusiasm this year.

I liked the potential of Shi Smith initially it's a bummer it didn't work out. But what are ya gonna do.

There are legitimate critiques to be made about some of his picks and acquisitions but reactionary posts like this just make it difficult to have honest conversations about some of his missteps.
