Our next 5 weeks we face

Olave and Michael Thomas
Metcalf, Lockett, JSN
Justin Jefferson
Then Tyreek Hill, Waddle week 5

And we’re starting Donte Jackson and CJ Henderson

We need to bring in another corner if we are to IR(even short term) Horn. CJ is just not it. Ya he shows flash in the pan every once and again, gets a good interception, but he gets torched 10 times for every good play.

@RoaringRiotwhat was the pulse on JNo returning during your visit at his coffee shop last weekend?

fields was only pressured 4 times against the packers, and was never hit or hurried. His sacks were from him trying to scramble and not getting back to LOS.

I can’t read it because it’s paid but he was pressured on 65% of his drop backs per the Athletic. USA Today on Packers attributes 6 pressures to Wyatt on their dline alone.

You're both kinda partially right.  The pro-football-reference stats seem wrong, I watched every Fields snap and he got pressured quite a bit but a good chunk of those were on him.  https://www.sportsmockery.com/chicago-bears/one-uncomfortable-revelation-from-justin-fields-game-vs-packers/

I can't copy/paste from that website for some reason, so here's a snippet:

going through all22 now, and I will tell you Donte is not an issue on our D. I havent seen him allow a completion and I am halfway through the 3rd quarter

Remember all the feel good fluff from the team after we drafted him about Horn staying in the Carolinas? The Panthers need to get back to simply drafting the best football players and leave the feels at the door.

What?  How could the Panthers have foreseen he would have injury problems?

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
