It's fine. We're just being very predictable with it with a lead.

Overall, the OL just hasn't been very good, running or pass protecting. We need them to be more consistent all the way around.

Hasn't been very good is a nice way to put it.

Gotta appreciate how Arizona State is approaching this USC game. They know they're outgunned so they're letting it all hang out. They've already attempted an onside kick (unsuccessful) and a 4th down trick play (successful). You're probably gonna have no chance at potentially pulling off a huge upset if you try to play it safe. They're trying to give themselves a chance.

Arizona State is one of the worst teams in CFB right now. The fact that USC's defense is still garbage just shows LR doesn't give a shitt about defense.

Notre Dame at Duke next weekend.

Who will the “die hard” Duke basketball fans be rooting for?

Yeah. Their football fanbase is atrocious.

However, Durham, NC is much better than Chapel Hill now. So at least they have that going for them.

Yeah, his OU teams were the same way. All offense, no defense. But damn, the man sure can coach some offense.

Back when Tepper was looking at a college coach, Riley is who he should have went after.

    • Even if he beats the odds, returns midseason  and plays like he did last year it won’t warrant a big contract extension.
    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
