Well CJ just moved ahead of Mahommes to 3rd most yards in first three starts, now only behind Cam and Herbert.

Oh he just added another 70+TD and there’s still 10 mins left.

Assuming he doesn't throw one the rest of the way, it'll be the most passes thrown in 3 games without an INT by a rookie too

There was legit nobody within 12 yards of Tank Dell. Stroud has looked great today but let's not act like Bryce has been given anything remotely close to that.

I mean BY missed an Mingo deep, but yeah, he wasn't that open. And ofc TMJ then just quit on a route.

But Stroud has fit the ball into very tight windows all game.

Goes to show, all those that flip flopped and started talking poo cuz of that pointless test that Stroud supposedly didn’t do well on are as gullible as some of us said. And the team a guy plays for doesn’t mean anything, and Stroud’s receivers definitely didn’t make him look better, those of us that actually watched the throws saw the pinpoint accuracy that is independent of who’s catching the ball.

Teppers gonna tepper.   Or should I say Nicole gonna Nicole.    Have a feeling we are in a synder tailspin here

It did seem that more than just Tepper preferred BY. And, BY still has an opportunity to show he was worth the #1 overall. Clearly Stroud was worth the #2.

No, no, no lol. Scott and Frank had “conviction” for Bryce. Bryce also impressed them at some steakhouse dinner too, so there is that.

Nothing remotely close to the majority of Stroud's completions today. He's had some throws he fit into tight coverage - mostly on slants or routes where his receivers had inside leverage.

How many times have we even scored 30+ points the last few seasons? CJ almost 300 yards and 2 touchdowns now. Can't even argue the Texans are looking like they had a hell of a draft.

It's not like CJ has incredible offensive talent around him, either. Tank Dell looks legit but realistically it looks like the scheme is working and CJ is finding the right read.

    • I need to actually do a full analysis but I think the issue was more that we'd rarely have top-to-bottom awesome drafts but we'd frequently have drafts where only 2-3 players panned out, but the 1st is a Pro Bowler and the other two solid starters or backups. We rarely had drafts where only 1 player was good, and we never had absolute useless drafts. At the very least we always had one really, really good guy. The worst was probably 2005 where we got Thomas Davis (Hall of Honor-quality player) and Geoff Hangartener. Evan Mathis was good, but only after he left.
    • Hurney wasn’t good with contracts but I think he was probably above average at drafting.  Not saying he was great.  Just that most draft classes are worthless.
    • Ehh, teams earlier this season double and tripled teamed him with decent success. The reason he beasted out so much with Miami was for some reason they did not much at all. Bad call on their part. But that is his purpose. If he is eating up people that is huge, and theoretically should give others the ability to make a play. But his surrounding cast to do that isn’t great. Brown is something OCs have to put a lot of time to plan for.
