Absolutely.  Hurney at least had incredible first rounders... I have high hopes for Fitts but the jury is out...

I may be in the minority but I think he looked great in the preseason. I’m high on him. He’s very strong and sets the edge well with good not great speed. Houston is the perfect player to learn from as they have the same build and he’ll be asked to do the same things.

You definitely are. The fact that he can’t even get a jersey is indicative of where he’s at. We have a ton of injuries on defense. Let’s see if he gets activated this week.

But people on the Huddle said it was too early to judge!! Fitt's draft history has left a lot to be desired and resulted in our lack of depth when injuries happen. Chinese Proverb: "A tiger can not change it's stripes" = Fitt still sucks at drafting

Man Scott needs to go. Ive tried so hard to give him benefit of the doubt but this pick in itself is a microcosm of who Scott is.

He did not look good at all in preseason. Displayed decent play strength and a great motor, but he was regularly stonewalled on his pass rush.

Some franchises have built sustained success through the draft. Others stay at the bottom and still can't convert the competitive advantage of draft position to success.

 

We're the latter.

It's his first season in the NFL. Many of you complaining about him are the same ones talking about how trash Derrick Brown was just one year ago, and now he's a beast and accounting for like 75% of our defense. It's really too early to judge DJ, but since we suck right now, people are looking for scapegoats.
