Situation at season end with Thomas Brown

Everyone is shouting for Thomas Brown to take over playcalling.

Say Brown takes over here in a few weeks.  
He was rumored to be a potential HC candidate.

 

If he is getting serious looks at seasons end.

Do you fire Reich and promote Brown.  
Or retain Reich and revert back to his anemic stale playcalling?

Barring some type of absolutely transcendent offensive resurgence if/when he takes over playcalling, like historic worst-to-first type thing in just weeks, there is near-zero risk of him going on to be an HC at the end of this season.

If he has our offense playing well enough to warrant him getting a HC job I think most of us would be happy.  I would think that McCown or Staley could get bumped to OC or we could seek outside help (maybe someone else from the McVay tree) in that case.

I have already said can Reich for Evero.  I feel like Evero is closer to a guaranteed HC gig as of right now, so my thought was that we might be able to retain Brown as the OC at that point, but you never know.

In any scenario, I want Frank out of here.

by the current looks, evero will be gone as another teams HC. The saving grace from this 0-4, D has played well enough to win 3 games without many starters the last two games. 

It's been the luvu and brown show and nothing else.

I predict Brown will move on to greener pastures.  If Reich did relinquish the play calling  and things get better, it's going to make Reich look like a fool. He won't allow that. Only a miracle like firing Reich could change that scenario.

Yep, this is the Frank issue.   Frank is horrific and was begged to quit doing it in Indy.  He refused.  Now he is being called out here.  He can’t turn it over because there really is nowhere to go but up.  Then what does that make him?
