Brice Young - Is there anyimprovement through the first 4 weeks?

I understand the frustration, I just don’t understand the confusion. Stroud was always the more pro ready pick. I don’t understand drafting young and being surprised that it is going to take some time and development.

I really don’t understand the owner having a knee jerk reaction about it and trying to get us a top level wide out. This will surely cost us even more future draft picks. I don’t think you could bring the top 2 receivers in the league here and it make much of a difference this season.

BrYce HAS improved game by game. He completed 19 STRAIGHT passes vs Minn. The fumble was crucial, of course. Still, if we had won the game, the tone would be much different.

I agree, and the video does a great job of pointing out both Bryce's developments, and the coaching staff seeing things (his drop back timing) and adjusting concepts/formations to fit him. Also, thanks everyone for point out I misspelled Bryce, rookie posting on my part. I will get better as the season progresses.

How many of those were behind or at the line of scrimmage?

When Tepper hired Rhule it was all about Tepper being sold on his process and him being a leader of men and the culture he was going to build. Nothing about Xs and Os football. Tepper got sold on a person not a coach.

The more we hear about Bryce from the Panthers the more we start hearing about how they're sold on the person. Has Tepper done the same thing again? We'll overlook all of the glaring physical concerns and go with the guy Tepper believes in because he's sold on the person.

I don't know, but the logic follows IMO. Especially with it now being heavily rumored that Bryce wasn't the QB Reich wanted. Fitts was always hired to be a yes man. I think most roster calls are his but when Tepper gets involved I think Fitts is programmed to just go with the boss.

    • You found out what I said months ago. Its sort of simple, if Panthers/you want a edge....*Panthers need a starting edge that gets hurries/sacs/press/etc* You almost have to use the 1st on edge. Just the way it is, of course some .01% Panthers get lucky and a 4th rounder shocks the world and becomes a day one starter.    I hate double talk, I also feel the Panthers need a top backup ala Addison or Al Wallace. Sooooo I do feel the need to add one in mid rounds if possible. I mean Pat Jones is on the MAYBE cut list, Panthers need space, he had a back injury and had little impact on field. So....... It goes back to adding talent, Panthers need talent, young talent.  OT- In my finding Im able to land a "stud" in round 2 more than 50% of the current rating. Even in the 3-5 rounds, (duke lad) Im able to get a OT within the top ava. I normally draft two OTs with one must play LT at some point. So I feel the draft is weak, but one of the strong point and it helps panthers is the OT spot. A few of those OT in mid, some will be starters this year.    I posted this else where, but here is the best outcome for the Panthers given the mock draft finding- 1st- Edge 2nd- LT/OT 3rd- ILB 4th- BPA/safety/center/WR/OT/etc 5th- OT/edge/C/DL/TE 5th- """" 6th- QB/Punter/safety/NB/OL The draft feels weak at 80% of the spots and teams Im sure are on this thought too. This past draft feels much better and deeper against the pool There is no Mike green or Nic scro in the late 2nd. There is no Evans sitting there in late 5th. There is not even a Prince level edge in the 3rd by my finding. I feel Panthers for sure new to draft 2 OTs and I high believe drafting 2 edges, one must be a 1st tho. Then the remaining 3 picks one late on QB, one on ILB, and the last one BPA. Honestly the FA looks bad too, the huge problem is the amount of needed for Panthers and there's not enough cap space or draft picks to fill even half the issue this season. Its goes back to just add the best talented players possible, *so long they do not play OG, strong safety, Dbrowns spot, and Tmacs spot. Add talent everywhere else, cause its lacking.......Even CB with horn struggling and Mike Jack on a one year deal, Thor coming off injury. There room for a mid or even 2nd rounder being(ewwww) use at CB. I prefer what I posted above. Happy drafting 45!!
    • Yes.  We actually had a coach we paid millions to who burned a 6th for a long snapper strictly for the lulz.
    • A complete and total cancer to the locker room
