They don't think any of this is rebuilding. They never have. It's a move to win now which is why it looks so bad.

You don't trade that much away and are able to call it a rebuild.

The most painful part is we might be giving away the #1 pick this year, Fitt and co just set this Franchise back a decade by their incompetence. Fire Fitt and get Tepper the fug away from this organization.

The biggest downfall of this team has been thinking so short sighted for a rebuilding team. We have never been a player short of a playoff team in recent years, we needed to hold assets and play the long game. But every fuging year our front office convinced themselves it’s a must win year.

I’ve been on the tank train since Lawrence. It was so obvious what we needed to do. I was told we can’t do that and it never works, just have to trust that the FO will do the right thing. Those same people seem to be missing now as we are now the worst team in the league and the most talented player we would have had will be playing for the Bears alongside Moore.

I had hoped that approach was driven by Rhule. Unfortunately, it obviously wasn't.

Who is saying Jeudy for Burns straight up? It's saying Jeudy and a package of picks for Burns.

Was going to say the same thing. There's no way that a Burns swap for Jeudy would fly. That defeats 50 percent of the purpose of the trade.

This feels like its all being driven by Tepper.  Fitterer sucks but it seems like he's just doing whatever Tepper wants him to do.  This is a very bad situation.

You could be absolutely rightq, but ultimately it's all about value. I'm viewing a possible trade unto itself. But of course if you are right, it possibly has longer term ramifications.

Tepper really needs to hire the right guy...or promote him.

Fitz should never have been hired but he was the quality of GM you get to pair with a Rhule. It's all just stupid and incompetent.

This honestly is one of the worst front office/ownership groups in the last 2 decades minimum. Only the Browns have been worse and even that could be debatable because at least they hit on some players here and there with all those picks they had. Our drafts have been basically Jaycee Horn and a bunch of role players at best and the rest just garbage. Fitterer deserves to not only be canned but ridiculed for the next few years. Bumbling idiot.

I’m all for Jeudy. He’s the exact receiver we need. Pristine route runner. Hands. Clever in his movements. No wasted movement.

But it all depends on cost. I don’t trust Fitt right now. Too much desperation.

I think at least a 3rd gets it done, but that’s tough to swallow. 4-5th round pick is what I’d be happy with, but I think (barring injury) Jeudy is a better player than that, so I don’t think Denver accepts that.

And of course, the looking question is how much offensive disfunction is simply Reich hamstringing things right now.

There’s just so much wrong offensively that I’m not sure adding a WR helps with it.

Sorry. Jerudy has injury issues and attitude issues

they would be damned better off to find bodies to shore up that wretched line

watching Moore and CMC thrive, I’m really starting to despise this franchise and despise isn’t strong enough of a descriptor

as far as I’m concerned, these issues are a self made set of soiled laundry and their happy asses should be made to sleep in it until season end

Then  Fitterer and everyone of his staff and scouting dept can get the fug out of Charlotte

We'd be getting draft compensation, not giving it, because Burns would be a part of the trade. We'd ostensibly be solving three problems:

1. Getting a high quality receiver with WR1 upside.

2. Trading Burns for something, because, as it looks, we're not coming to an agreement as he may just want to much that we're comfortable giving.

3. Recouping a pick (or picks) in the 2024 draft.

Sure, our pass rush would likely suffer but the ends justify the means. We would still have plenty of cap, Houston, Johnson, Haynes (eventually), Luvu and YGM.
