Becasue he sucks as a head coach and is doing too much. He needs to give up the play calling so he can manage the game.

Play calling has NOT been the issue today.  You all were just fine with the play calling until the Dolphins defense stiffened up.  Bryce has missed some longer throws, the O-line is not as effective run blocking and certainly pass protecting. Chark looks like crap too.  When the players were executing early on, the play calling was just fine.  How ironic.

I’ve said it since week 1 his passes just float and seem really slow, he looked good between the numbers today but we got to figure out the entire field.

It's why I didn't want him from the beginning aside from the eye test...  someone shared advanced stats on all the projects top QBs in last draft prior to it during the offseason, and Bryce had by far the worst completion pct to the sidelines, and it wasn't close.  AT ALL.  I think. A ton of that is arm strength.  And as we have seen, his deep ball is ass for the same reason.

How ironic? What do you mean by that?

You are the one trying to make comparisons in this thread between them. Common opponent is fair.

No it’s not…compare the teams not 1 player on the team

Young with another bigtime throw, boom

Bryce is looking better but the lack of a viable deep ball is still a big concern.

For the kind of offense we use, a speed receiver who can catch it and run (like our old #89 used to) would be just as effective.

Mind you, even in a WCO, It's good to have a deep threat also,

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
