TNF is weird though.  I don’t expect a really close game.  One team will just be really bad and one team has an easy night.  And you can’t really predict it. 

I just have to hype myself up going into each week, man. Thats all I am doing lol

Hey, if there is a time for your team not to look how they normally do…it’s TNF.  No doubt.  

like I said, some teams just gift those games.  Maybe we get that luck.

Let Bryce play schoolyard ball. Let him play uptempo and stop worrying so much about the right call and everything. Let him go out and play football, just once. It cannot possibly be as worse as what we are doing out there already

Luke Kuechly was talking about this in the pregame on the radio broadcast.  He plays a different side of the ball of course but he explained it like, he played his best when he could play fast.  Meaning instinctively and reflexively rather than having to think a lot about what he was doing. 

Of course he'd binge film and put in the prep work and all that, but in the game he'd get the call, get everybody lined up, and when the ball was snapped he'd take his gap assignment, cover his man, drop into whatever coverage, and that's it.  And he's a first ballot Hall of Famer because of it.

This is exactly it. Bryce is overthinking, every damn play. It doesn't help that they are huddling and taking most of the play clock every play either. When Bryce was great at Alabama, he was playing fast, moving outside of the pocket, improvising, a lot like Mahomes. He hasn't moved outside of the pocket much at all here. I don't know if that is the offensive line, playcalling, or both, but run Bryce on some bootlegs for heavens sake. They are forcing him to be Drew Brees or Phillip Rivers right off the bat.

Bryce has been out of the pocket plenty. There’s no designed rollouts but he escapes constantly. 
 

when he does, he gets ragdall’d from behind by a defensive tackle because he still thinks he’s playing a september game against south alabama state.

Probably so…but the other side gets paid too.  And given the Panthers literally don’t threaten the field vertically….NFL defenses are playing our small ball.  And we are content asking them to try to stop it.   And we play small ball with non-small weapons.   End of the day, we are just going to lose that battle overall.  Doesn’t really matter the QB.  It’s definitely not going to end well for a rookie.  Any rookie.

I still find is sadly hilarious how the commentators always say Young was ragdolled. Seems to happen at least once a game. 
I think ragdolling was mentioned the last two games in regards to Young being sacked or pressured.

      Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!

      Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.

      OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
