I think ragdolling was mentioned the last two games in regards to Young being sacked or pressured. 

I don’t know a better term. It’s like bad video game physics

I forgot the game is going to be in Chicago and not Charlotte.  Yeah this is going to be a complete ass-kicking and get right game for the Bears.

Chicago is a bit more of an enigma on offense.  Their passing attack ranks only slightly ahead of Carolina.  Statistically, not much has changed with Bagent in relief of Fields, if anything they're taking fewer sacks.  DJ "Feed Me" Moore will have a chip on his shoulder in this game and it wouldn't surprise anyone if the Bears try to force it to him from time to time.  Beware though, Carolina's pass defense has been a rare bright spot and has logged plenty of practice against Moore.  Instead, Chicago will likely prioritize attacking Carolina's poor rushing defense, testing it early and often.  The Bears boast the 4th rank rushing attack at 135 YPG.  This is strength against weakness and should be the linchpin of the Chicago game plan.

On the injury front Frank Reich reported Brian Burns and CJ Henderson are in concussion protocol after Sunday's loss to the Colts.  It's hard to expect Carolina to uphold the impressive and unlikely defensive standard without their best defensive player.  The Panthers seem destined to find the point of no return with starters suffering injuries at every level of the defense seemingly every game.  Justin Fields remains as the most impactful injury for Chicago.

Vegas has the Bears at -3.5 as of Monday afternoon, which is nearly symmetric with the season averages of 20.9 vs 17.5.  The Bears are playing at home on Prime time against a team that owes them a 2024 1st round draft selection.  DJ Moore could be a huge X factor.  His already impressive 2023 campaign checks in at 6th in receiving yards and sources say he is eating Wheaties every morning this week.  The Panthers still have some pride and this game has talking points beyond the field.  However, it won't be enough to make up the talent differential or short week on the road.

      I agree with this and I think it's worth mentioning too that Bryce is not consistent on his placement and especially velocity and that in large part is driven by his footwork. We all know XL doesn't have the best hands and I don't know that he can overcome that. Cam always had the heater that just hit your hands and sank into your grip, where Bryce has some that are harder thrown, some soft. Bryce stepping into a pass looks so much different than that hop throw thing he does. I think XL really needs to hit the jugs machine and start learning how to catch all these different touch passes. TMac and Coker don't have these issues. If XL doesn't get some work in he's going to be out of the league in the next couple of years.

      I think most people like XL from a personal standpoint. I don't think he's stupid either. Although if we are being realistic he is lacking in football IQ at this point in time and it cannot be disputed that he has not taken working on his craft seriously at all times given the body of work on the field. It speaks for itself. I myself have defended him at times given the circumstances of our QB room. But he is now in his third year and 25 years old. We are not in a position as a franchise to go around babying anyone especially first round draft picks. He needs to take his position and his football career seriously or he is going to end up selling used cars somewhere. I hope he realizes this and takes an extended break from social media because that mess certainly isn't going to increase his net worth if he ends up out of the league. And these hanger on types will disappear quick too once that money dries up and it surely will eventually. We'll see how he responds.
