We're the worst team in the NFL. There is no short term path. It's going to be a long time. .

We can start 1,000 threads.   Let's just agree this is rock bottom.  The ownership was a known weakness.  Head coach is incomprehnsively incompetent.  GM can't draft guys that can even contribute.   There is no hope but there is alcohol.

Cheers ladies and gentlemen.  I'll be here when it turns around (2025 or beyond).

So who we taking 1st overall in 2025 or do we wait for Arch Manning in 2026 only for him to refuse to play for us?

Getting Arch would all but guarantee an eventual Super Bowl after watching the league give Peyton his send off. The league loves that family

We didn't know how good we had it with Matt Rhule and Marty Hurney.

Well really Rivera and DG and even Hurney. Rhule sucked too just not this level of suck. Rivera and DG/Hurney actually brought us some incredible success, not sustained but rarely back to back poor seasons

    • My take on Darnold was always that he was fine with a good offensive line but would wilt under pressure with a poor line (Jets and Panthers). Seattle began the year w/ a pretty bad oline and they improved somewhat but Darnold is showing he is a pretty good qb. Imagine what the Panthers would be today with Darnold and without Bryce Young and all the wasted draft picks to get him.
    • Similar situation but that would be a better version than what we currently have. Sam isn't a franchise QB but he is a good bridge guy. Either Seatle finds a young guy to groom or they have hit their ceiling. They 100% can't put it on Sam's shoulders and expect to win but the team needs to carry less with him at QB to win vs what this team has to do with Bryce.
    • to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game.   Which is what we do with Bryce Young.   Sam Darnold didn't play well last night.  Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch.  Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).
