Fans in Jax respond

I swear it looked like he was talking poo in celebration into that box.

It still is a football game and if you can't handle the disapoontment of losing then try gardening or something. And if the NFL are going to let their billionaires mingle with the poors they had best read the room when you're producing like Tepper has.

Three versions of every story. Side A, side B, and the truth. Regardless, Tepper is a fuging idiot for doing it and it absolutely blows my mind he didn't get more than a stern look by the league. If a player tosses a cup of Gatorade on fans in row 1 when they're talking poo, we're talking big time problems for that guy

Yeah he’s not telling the whole truth, the reason the jags isn’t pushing is because the jags fan is leaving stuff out IE what he said lol

Hes turned around jaw jacking pre drink thrown…it’s how you can see the jags logo on the beanie.

Dave shouldn’t have thrown the drink but the jags fan said stuff that would probably end up in the tinderbox

Apparently the Jags fans who got the drink tossed in them emailed in to their local radio station in Jax.

Said they were season ticket holders.  Said they were not provoking Tepper and didn’t even notice it was Tepper until he was being escorted by his people away.

Stated they started jumping and cheering once Bryce threw the last int.  Then next thing they knew they were pelted

Well, I greatly dislike Tepper….but that doesn’t sound like the full truth.  I mean we do have visual evidence he was turned around engaging with Tepper BEFORE the drink was tossed I think.

Jags fan is definitely leaving out some details but it doesn't excuse Tepper for throwing a drink at him. I'm sure they were jaw jacking at him about his embarrassingly bad team and #1 overall QB and ya know what, that's perfectly fair. Don't wanna deal with it, don't come to the game or close the windows in the suite... or put a team on the field worthy of an NFL jersey. Personally, I'd prefer the last option.

Agree. Tepper has been awful and should know better than to respond but it’s comical that these fans are going to say nothing was said or done to provoke Tepper into throwing a drink. Tepper wants the Panthers to win and he acted like a spoiled brat who got into an argument with an opposing fan who like every idiot these days feels like they can do or say anything they want.

I miss back in the day when people were polite and friendly and not a bunch of assholes looking to fight and post it on social media, Tepper included.

    • I don’t think people are saying that picking up the option s a call for the pitchforks. We would have had to do things differently a couple of years back to make declining the option a valid move. We didn’t and here we are. People largely accept that. The patter it adheres to, reinforces the nausea we feel when the idea of an extension, and at top of the market no less, comes up.  One that he hasn’t shown he deserves.   Same as he did not deserve to be drafted 1.1. Look at Pavia and what really is the difference? Bryce is a nice guy and Pavia is an asshole lol. They are both no margin for error non day one talents. One went undrafted.
    • We hate losing. I don't know Bryce to hate him. His play as a QB, I absolutely hate. It's just not good enough. If there were a lottery held to select the order and all 32 starting QBs could be drafted as the starting QB for whatever team selected them, how long do you think it would be before Bryce's name was called? Top 10, top 20, bottom 8? Think about it.  For me, having never seen back to back games with franchise QB level performance in 3 years tells me what I need to know. We still need to be looking for our solution at QB.
    • Dude, I'm saying the Cardinals have proven they know nothing. Not saying keeping Bryce is the best choice long term, just saying that we've made the right move for this moment in time.  But man, the Cardinals are never a blueprint for success. Haven't been since they were in Chicago.
