A moment of SILENCE for our beloved Carolina Panthers as the Houston Texans clinched playoffs

Stroud didnt look superstar yesterday but even his not superstar days for the most part look good. God I want that at WB for us so badly. I want us to consistently pass for 250+ yards per game at will and see multiple TD passes thrown per game. If you have a good RB, I bet it pens up running room for him and all of a sudden your ground game starts looking good as well.

What game were you watching? He made some elite throws yesterday.

He did, but didnt look as elite as some other games ive seen of his. He looked good no doubt but my point was even when he doesnt look all world he still looks so much better than anything we have seen in a very long time. His bad day is almost to the point of us not even seeing it on our best QB days.

Stroud would not be successful here.

Disagree.

I think it's the coaching, scheme and personnel that are making the difference. Put Bryce in Houston and the results are similar to what CJ7 is doing. Put Stroud in Carolina and fans would be second guessing why we didn't take Bryce.

Everything about how we're built and how players are being used is awful. We had a decent OL last year, we forced square pegs into round holes. We had a balanced RB room last year, signed a new RB into a scheme that doesn't fit his skills. Our version of Nico Collins is TMJ....we see how that turned out. Downs was available, we passed on him. Schultz was available....we brought in Hurst.

Ryans was never going to be the guy we wanted nor did he want to come here, but Steichen was. He supposedly gaffed the interview, but Reich and his clown car of "All Star" league of extraordinary gentlemen was superior. Wrong.

I'm not saying Bryce hasn't had a frustrating rookie year full of mistakes, but to think Stroud would look how he has here and Bryce would be this trash QB in Houston is doing a disservice to Houston's franchise and looking past how broken our front office is.

I gotcha.

    • Im not firm on many things football, but this statement or belief or strategy I am 100% for. Full Offseason the goal is to make the playoffs. Week 1, 1000% I want to win. Weeks 2-10,  1000% I want to win. Until the math stats 0.000000000% chance at NO playoffs, I want to win. *Once* there's no chance at the playoffs, I want to 100% lose every game until the end. You are still loser at 2-15 or 5-12, I want to never lose like this again. I want the best value for losing and suffering. Again the only goal is playoffs. Once in the playoffs anything can happen, I want to win the whole dam show. If you happen to lose in the first round, that's perfectly fine and lets work hard this upcoming off-season to get another chance to make them.  This is the ONLY way to play in the NFL. Anyone not understanding this method of strategy, please call your doctor for a visit...
    • Purdy's good but at the end of the day you're paying first class money for a business class seat.  It's a big problem with the salary cap.  QBs take most of it whether they are Pat Mahomes or not.
    • Purdy saved the 49ers from that three 1st picks for Trey Lance. People forget that. People also forget he should have MVP votes for the 23 season. He's been any where from the 8th(his best/23) to 14th ranked QB, he's legit and guys around top 10 get paid as QBs.....guys in 28th get paid too, he's 4x the QB Trevor Lawrence is and better than BY by miles as well...even without CMC, Samuel(whos a RB playing WE), and half the OL.    *BUT*    You non-believers missed this ultra important mistake that honestly made me reconsider all the praise I gave him. https://www.si.com/nfl/49ers/news/49ers-qb-brock-purdy-throws-blind-40-percent   That's is damming to my case and reset my thinking of his. That's nuclear scary now and I need some time.  too honest for me to overlook.
