I heard him called a non-stoner Mike McDonald. Brilliant mind and very personable. I’m very intrigued. What he did to the Browns defense was impressive.

That said, I don’t understand the lack of interest in Harbaugh, other than Tepper being an idiot.

He is too much personality for Tepper. He isn’t puppet enough

Who else have we not interviewed? Everyone that they said they would interview has interviewed. Unless you think we will add a name on Sat/Sun? Who would that be? Its clear Belichick, Harbaugh, and Vrabel have no interest in coming here or else we would have interviewed them already.

I meant Mike McDaniel, not McDonald. Sorry

Sorry guys wish I had something this time. Like I said Thursday, I figured they had because they had interviewed all the candidates at least once.

Morgan is likely a strong possibility but that doesn’t mean they don’t bring in a President or Operations Director over him. What I know about the Panthers, I imagine the they have candidates they like for different roles. Meaning they have guys in the second round they like for Ops Director/GM and they probably have guys they like for AGM to replace Dan.

"Hi Dan, welcome in. Ok, first question - explain to me the thought process behind trading 5 premium players for the biggest bust in NFL history".

I'm a Miami Hurricanes fan (a bigger one of those than I am a Carolina Panthers fan) and I have his Panthers jersey - if I'm saying he needs to leave and rebuild his career that's something.

I wouldn’t be too discouraged about Morgan, even if they don’t hire anyone above him. Morgan had a successful career building until he was paired with Fitterer. Nobody really knows what opinions he brought to the table that Scott may have countered or overruled. I feel like he may have been right a lot considering how he wasn’t thrown out with Scott.

I would trust Sportsology as well. They don’t have a lot of history in the NFL but the things they have dealt with has turned successful.

"yeah and walk me through how you thought this roster was better at every position but one"

People have revisionist history around here but Beane was not wanted because “he worked under Marty” and wanted the outside guy and now we stomp our feet because “we didn’t keep him”

That same situation with Morgan is playing in the back of my mind but people are forgetting that Dan was successfully scouting with the seahawks and bills well before he came to Charlotte under Scott.

So was he lying to our faces then when he said this roster was better than last year?

He's either disingenuous or incompetent. Neither are traits I want in someone working for the Panthers.
