May shouldn't even be a debate. He is.

If he doesn't get injured he wins MVP as a rookie! Sorry guys but we will regret this for a long time. This kid might be the face of the NFL.

Regret what exactly? You honestly think the Panthers become a playoff team had we taken Stroud over Bryce? Lol. Stroud would be getting dumped on just like Bryce is currently had we drafted him. This team wasn't going to be successful even if you had Jesus Christ himself playing QB.

Everything is Bryce vs CJ...

Their situations are not remotely the same. Bryce is home watching with the rest of the horrible team. Let's just watch the game without making QB comparisons.

For the record, I'm all in for Bobby Slowik. He's schooling these boys.

It’s really not hard to watch the game and also make some comparisons.

Sure, their situations aren’t the same, but let’s be honest, the QB play/talent is also not even close to the same. It’s just being honest to say that our organization made a huge freaking mistake.

In comparisons only pain will you find

The only way forward is to forget about the 2023 draft, CJ Stroud is just a player on another team , cut or trade Young if he shows no improvement, and start building the team for when a big name qb becomes available, or when we can tank for another promising rookie

    • Just stop, man. All the college stats don't matter. Plenty of guys who put up big numbers in college flop in the NFL and you and I both know that there are 1st round and top 10 busts every year. While we definitely hope T-Mac isn't one and we hope he proves to be a great NFL WR, you can't assume poo about a rookie who hasn't played a down of NFL football yet.
    • therein lies the problem.  Carry on
    • Again, it's not about performance, it's purely a statement about his ability as a football player. Which right now, is better than Chark ever was, I don't understand how that is a controversial statement. This isn't someone who had a 1,500 yard season with a dozen touchdowns while being a threat the other team was afraid of on every snap.  It's literally a guy who had a couple good games and then was just peppered with targets in the others because the team had no other viable WRs and he still barely cracked 1,000 yards, and then was barely even a JAG for the rest of his career outside that one season. Just look at it this way, take names aside, you're saying a guy who's peak was 1,008 yards and 2nd best season was 706 yards, was a better football player at that time than a WR who was just taken in the Top 10 and had multiple teams trying to trade up to get them. That's beyond asinine thinking.  I'm genuinely not even sure Chark would make the argument himself if he was being completely honest and objective about it.
