worst roster in the league with no #1 pick, he was a part of that, a right hand man to it all if you will

I can already hear the usual suspects saying “he just needs more time”. Dude has been helping build this pathetic roster for four years now.

*Spoiler Alert* It’s going to be a sh!tshow

I really didn't learn too much from this. He's just saying the things that he's supposed to say, and I really can't hold him accountable.

Now, I will hold him accountable. He can't hide behind anyone.

He’s supposed to be honest. This type of a response is worrying. Trying to act like the last three years of decision making, including him, was not a poo show leads to trying to patch a 4 foot hole with caulk instead of using a new sheet of drywall. He said exactly what Fitterer said last year after trading away CMC and Moore and acting like we were more talented overall.

It’s funny because I remember when Tepper got the team or when he fired Rivera, he sent out PSL letters asking for patience. Since then, the dishonesty or delusion has been rampant. Whether it was to save face and keep their jobs or incompetence, we don’t know although we couldn’t have done worse.

Morgan saying we need a lot of work and good drafts, etc. would be refreshing. We were 2-15 and a hair away from 0-17. Stop blowing smoke up our asses and be honest about our talent challenges.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
