Small first year.  We have plenty of cap space after 2024.  I would be willing to bet that's why it's a 5-year deal when most others are only 3 and some 4.  Had to tack on a year or two to compensate for the peanuts he'll make this season.

I like Hunt, but not understanding the point of it.  I'm sure they want a big, road grader guard to better fit the scheme we're implementing, but BC was pretty good and so is Corbett.  Wonder if this means Corbett is toast?

Hopefully it means BC is now a backup. He'd be a hugely useful depth piece to have considering he can play either tackle or guard spot. Having a quality backup swing OL like that can make a huge difference over the course of a season.

last year of contract and coming off bad injury.  Hopefully he can play this year while a rookie strengthens and learns behind him
