i might try to lift it leading up to the draft.

Yea, last year it was not a good place or time for the bot to post positive spinoff of the turd on field product we got to witness every week.  I think many of us have a bit more optimism this year so folks might be more tolerable.  At least until early fall anyways.

"We can't continue to keep giving draft capital away for players."

Thank you Dan Morgan. We've traded away

  • 2021 sixth-round pick
  • 2022 second-round and fourth rock pick
  • 2023 first round swap, second, and third-round pick
  • 2024 first overall pick
  • 2025 second round pick
  • DJ Moore

fug Matt Rhule and Scott Fitterer for hamstringing this franchise time and time again.

seemed like a good idea at the time.

“And again, we can't fix everything overnight because there is a lot of holes, and I think that we all have to understand that. The fans have to understand that, and people in the building have to understand that, that it isn't going to happen overnight, but it is going to eventually happen.”

i can appreciate all of that and that they aren't making panic decisions. they want to win this year, but they aren't willing to sacrifice long term plans to make that happen. cost of some players that could help us win this year could affect us being able to acquire some long term answers.

Yes please do...the "fluff" is just a small percentage of what it posts; it also often breaks news and posts articles with good factual info that nobody else here would have linked otherwise.  I don't see why we can't just apply the same rule we use broadly of "if you aren't interested, don't click it".  People can ignore topics posted by the bot instead of swarming to the thread to post about how much those posts bother them.

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
