Corbett is still a good experienced player that we be between 2 of the best guards in the league and good receivers on the outside. I don't want to hear this crap he needs to perform

He also graded out very well when he played C for the Rams.... his health thought questionable.... that said he should chill there is a fair chance Frazier is there at 3-1

I'm a big Bryce supporter and don't think he had a fair shot that anyone could have succeeded in last year, but no I think he is setup well this year. Corbett is a center, he just had more value as a guard for other teams. No excuses this year

Corbett was a tackle in college and has only ever been a guard in the NFL outside of some camp snaps at center. He's not a center.

I just don't get this team. I honestly believe fans are better at picking than the team. Banging the drum for Frazier, we pass. And you just know center is going to be a problem this year and the team will make excuses.

Same with banging the drum for Creed Humphry a few years ago, and Trey Smith in the 6th round and we took a freaking longsnapper

And the worst part is there are still fans that validate this type of sh*t and act like these are good moves, knowing damn well what they've seen for the past 5 years.

the rage people have that we didn’t set a pick on fire by taking a center is hilarious

draft guys who can change the way teams have to play you, draft guys who can intimidate defenses

nobody cares who you have lined up at center

Choose between Ryan Kalil vs Matt Paradis.

Paradis right. Because center makes no difference.

That doesn't mean Corbett can handle the center position's protection calling duties or even snap the ball cleanly.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
