Me too. It has been a long time since we had a TE described as athletic with good hands.  I don't know how to be. I always wanted us to draft a top 5 TE and we never did. We finally have,  so maybe there is a harbinger of positive change and the chance to become relevant again

STRENGTHS 
  • Smooth route runner.
  • Can play inline or the slot.
  • Strong at the catch point and after.
WEAKNESSES 
  • Downfield speed and post-catch agility are average.
  • More of an effort blocker than an impactful one.

Team Fit: Incredible value for a player who projects as a dynamic pass-catcher from the tight end position. Bryce Young gets a needed weapon.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
