Dude brought receipts, gotta respect that. Never read this one.

Well damn, he did bring receipts. Lol Its interesting he mentioned Tua at the in there and i was watching some highlights of Tua the other day and i gotta say as a big critic of Tua i dont even see Bryce being as good as him. Tua reads the field better, has better mechanics in the pocket and has a pretty good deep ball for his arm strength. For people hoping Bryce could be as good as Tua i dont know if thats saying a lot.

Again I ask.  What makes you think this off season is the one he works on his mechanics?   I mean they are what they are now and God knows how many times I am going to bitch at him hopping in the pocket this season.  He has had elite coaching since 8th grade and this is what he is still doing.

Because it worked for him at every level until this past season. And if he doesn’t he knows he’s reached the end of his career (as a starter at least)

This. Most guys arent just gonna change what has worked for them their whole career especially if they were successful like bryce, in his mind he thinks he can get by in the pros doing the same things.

Beck is my #1 as of today.  The way he played in the second half of the season was masterful.  Just need to see it again.  ewers has mad talent as well but again just need to see it.  Sanders scares the poo out of me for numerous reasons

Would you rather have Beck or try and trade down for a kings ransom?

yeah it's bad. It's probably the reason Tepper chose Dan Morgan as GM. After studying game film any other candidate would come to the conclusion that Bryce is not a franchise QB

Bryce Young is the Devil!

Nobody still really knows about his future, the NFL is so unpredictable. There's a chance Bryce comes out and has fixed a lot of his mechanics and zips the ball at high accuracy from 10-20 yards. There's a chance he doesn't and he's not the answer. We'll know by October.

Short of taking steroids, he'll never even have an average NFL QB arm strength.  Today's NFL QB's are just built differently and the game is getting faster, you can't get by anymore with a below average arm like Bryce's.

You don't trade away your future to take that QB at #1, that's the QB you sign in the offseason on a 2 year deal to be your gap starter while a young guy sits and learns.

CMC is a nice reference IMO,  because it’s another player where size is in the convo….

CMC showed up jacked and noticeably bigger going into year 2….after he realized he had to change things up at this level.

It is also really hard to change things. Which is why I was really skeptical about his mechanics and such being reworked by the staff. I could help, more likely is a huge can of worms.

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
