bad.  10 mins 32 seconds to end

I was wrong  about a few things   Not wrong about others

Care to elaborate? 20 minutes of BY film is a lot to digest

It was both literally and figuratively a parade of horribles.

1)  Glut of coaching “talent” with designs that didn’t match the personnel and didn’t mesh with each other.

2) An o-line  I’ll-fitted for the scheme on the interior. Injuries compounded this critical weakness. Penetration on runs completely negated whatever zone dominance we tried to establish.

3) Lack of separation by the WR’s. A lack of speed and separation and filling the right roles led to some pretty embarrassing looks. We couldn’t win on multiple levels

and it repeatedly trickled

down. Also look to (2) because interior pass rush often limited the time for routes to develop.

4) Rookie qb with an average arm but degenerative mechanics. Those railing about arm strength are off. He can sling it with a solid base, and the time of release is plus.

5) as the season wore on, we saw more bailing on the pocket, more dancing, more tip

toes . Which isn’t that weird given (1)-(3).

Finally, CJ had one of the best seasons ever for a rookie qb and we missed the pick. It has no bearing whatsoever on whether Bryce Young can be a successful NFL QB.

I’ll say this: if the kid does rebound and proves himself, that’s the gamer you want leading your team.

Solid review 💯...the huddle needs more of this! 🍺

i am anxious to see what he does with this new situation. i think the schedule is about as favorable as you could hope for the first half of the year. i don't expect a dramatic and quick  improvement, but i do expect improvement.

I was just about to post this. Great video and it's not too long

+ Some nice throws, especially in the intermediate middle of the field

+ Ability to extend plays

+ Better than you'd think at scrambling/running

- Poor deep ball arm strength, especially while under pressure

- Lot of inaccurate throws otherwise especially outbreaking routes Bryce would commonly overthrow WRs down the field on/near the hashes

- His short stature affects his ball trajectory/field vision when defensive players get close to Bryce and see him loading up to throw

- Bad at escaping pressure/sacks

- Needs to get better with turnovers/decision making

> Mingo lost a ton of potential yards while open, because Bryce threw him a Ton of uncatchable balls

> Bryces WRs were near the bottom of the league in WR separation metrics

> O line was horrendous and played a big role

He probably can't improve his arm strength for throwing over pressure, the video creator  mentioned bryces inability to throw over pressure multiple times. That kinda stuck out to me.

If his ideal comp is like a Tua 2.0 then they're definitely gonna have to get some really good players around him. And you better hope Canales is the next coming of Mike McDaniels

Honestly, irrespective of Bryce, this is my hope for Canales.

I hate hearing about him being a "QB whisperer." Because I don't give a rat's ass about him saving Bryce's career. Bryce either proves to be worth what we gave up for him, or it's next man up.

I'm just excited to have a young, innovative offensive mind.

How did this “innovative” narrative start with Canales? Just because he’s young?

He truly wants to run the ball and nothing Tampa did last year was all that creative. Mike Evans ability to win 1 on 1 does wonders for an offense as a whole

Did they mention anything about some players and most every coach not giving a flying fug and seemingly just going through the motions. So many of our players and coaches needed to shown the door last season and glad many were. I expect to definitely see improvement from Bryce this season and hoping this is the case. New coach appears to actually give a fug and we got rid of some of our "I was going through the motions and playing to not get injured" guys like Brian Burns who was like dead weight. Ridding ourselves of that dead weight didnt give tow shits coach Frank Reich should really help as well as hoping for a much better O-Line and receivers that can get open with an entire different scheme that doe snot look like a middle school offense.
