Xavier Legette tweaked his hamstring

Hamstring injuries can linger for months. I pulled mine and the recovery was 2 months in when I reinjured walking up stairs then another 3 months. You don't realize how much you use it until you can't.

Yeah, the only real fix for that is literally resting it. Well....it's tough to get acclimated while sitting on the bench.

There's no reason for anyone to be super negative about it like it's the end of the world. It certainly isn't and he could and should be fully ready to go for camp.

At the same time it would be foolish to completely dismiss our history with these injuries possibly lingering into the season. They should take proper precautions is all. We'll see how it shakes out by the start of camp.

I do. He has time for a recovery. 2 months before training camp. Doesn't hurt anything shutting him down in OTAs

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
