What is the deal with Plummer?

My biggest concern is how do you evaluate wide receivers

Route running, separation, blocking. Basically everything but catching.

I think Dalton would have received a lot of reps had he not been injured/recovering. I don’t get why Luton didn’t get more reps than Plummer. He has shown to be a better choice for QB3 if we even keep 3.

Especially when there's a guy on the bench that's looked better in the very limited action he's had.  You can disrespect the fans all you want by playing whoever.  That's the team's prerogative, and I don't really care.  But damn these guys are out there trying to make plays and get good stuff on film, and this dude is not even practice squad level.  It's wild.

This is my only answer I can come up with to your question.

Likely because he knows the calls better than Luton as he's been here longer. He showed his knowledge of the offense a little bit with how he got Dillon Johnson lined up in the second half.

I'd be surprised if he makes the PS tho. Lot of QBs out there about to get cut and the Panthers will likely want a QB3 they believe they can depend on.

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
