Lmao someone said 2 1st’s???

Dan Morgan shipped Burns off for a 2nd

This organization didn’t even get a 1st for CMC

We aren’t getting the Giants 1st for Horn. Their 1st rounder will be a top 5 pick

I've noticed with fans they are always over expecting depending on what side of the fence we're on.

Panthers Fans Trading Jaycee Out
-Potential All-Pro Shut Down Corner should easily go for two 1st Rounders!

Panthers Fans Trading for a Jaycee type player
-He's made of glass, they should be grateful for our 4th and a conditional 6th

Fans often over value their own. At the same time Horn has massive potential if he can stay healthy and we should require a fair sized ante up if they want to play.

Now is probably not the time to trade him. Unload him before the Week 9 deadline if he stays healthy. By then we will likely be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

This is assuming he actually has any value worth trading. If not, he should be a guy that we can re-sign for $7-9 mil/year on a shorter term deal. Decent gamble on an elite corner and it costs us very little because our roster is fuging terrible anyway.

That’s basically all I was saying. I’d only do the trade based on his potential ceiling. Otherwise it just makes sense to keep him.

watch Horn never gets injured again and becomes an all-pro/HOF corner

It’s the panther way

trade away quality starters for minimal return and panic to draft a shittier replacement. It’s been happening for years!

He is way overvalued here. His ability is high and his availability is low. That is a player they should sell. I doubt he ever has a full year of play sadly. Unlike CMC his position needs to be on the field and not rotated.

Unfortunately they can't draft for poo so what is really the point? They should but then they will just waste anything they get as usual.

You have to trade him now because he will be banged up by week 9. It's Horn so he is getting injured by week 6.

I do appreciate the concern about his availability.  It's a big problem.  However, we are not a talented team.  We need more talent NOW, not less.  Who will take JC anyway?  No one is going to give value for him for a less than half a season of work.

May as well ride it out.

    • I love Chubba.  Been a fan since I heard about his story when he was at Ok St.  and no doubt his production and progression is impressive, but this is my one nitpick - he was always touted for his speed, having come from a track background, so I am honestly surprised he doesn’t have more breakaway runs for TDs than what he has achieved thus far.  But to be fair, it often feels like he is constantly having to break tackles, so when he breaks the last one where it would just be nothing between him and the end zone, that usually took long enough that a defender from the opposite side of the field got an angle to catch up.  I really hope with the receiver additions, Bryce moving forward with confidence and proving that ending stretch last season wasn’t an aberration, and another year of synergy for the OL, Chubba is gonna have some wide open running this season.  He is definitely special.  Proud of him and happy he is getting rewarded for all his hard work…
    • Didn't i say passing other cars?
    • If you're in the left lane, look to the right. Is there someone beside you? Are you soon overtaking someone in the right lane immediately ahead of you? No and no? Then get the fug over. That's how it's supposed to work. Doesn't matter if you're going 100.
