This rag tag group of bums would probably put up at least 50 before halftime on UGA.

There is no comparison between CFB and the NFL.

That's checkers to chess.

But, but... SEC baby! It's just like the NFL! Everyone said so last year.

I don't know everybody else's roster well enough but I think just having what looks like a pretty good OL in the works gets us off the bottom.

I don't know. UGA generally has actual NFL starting talent playing. The Panthers, perhaps not so much. As you said in another post, the roster has been mismanaged for a long time.

I do know. Our bummiest bums were All Americans, All Conference, etc.

It's quite literally the same thing as saying the best team in HS would beat the worst SEC team.

Both statements are insanely laughable.

Who remembers the NFL team vs the College All Stars games? They used to have one yearly I think. I don't remember if it was one NFL team or the league champs or last place team even...

NFL didn't always win. But that was all stars, like all the first rounders I guess.

This.

Grown ass men doing their full time jobs ain’t losing to a bunch school kids doing their part time extra curricular activity.

If you’ve managed to convince yourself otherwise you should go somewhere and unfug yourself.

I think that LSU team could of hung with NFL team that featured a really bad defensive front and had horrible QB play.  Not saying they would have won.   But Burrow, Chase, and JJ showed as rookies they were already top tier NFL ready essentially as college players.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
