Holy poo!!!

This is a huge sign that Canales has some balls to speak up to Tepper and tell him what it takes to win!! That's speaks volumes on how good of a coach he could be

I hope that you are right.  There is the possibility that Tepper told canales to bench boy wonder.

Lol I love how people "know" Canales stood up to Tepper and how a whole other group "knows" that Tepper told Canales to bench Young.  Maybe after two weeks worth of terrible play it was just a natural decision to bench the guy.   Maybe we can go get Malik Willis as some of you thought he was the next great player full of "potential"

Do y'all think if Dalton does well that we will look for another veteran to sign as a backup?

We'll probably still lose, but I believe we'll be more competitive. I don't think signing another vet QB is wise considering we already have one. I think we should trade for a young QB sitting on the bench. I'm bias, but I would like for us to consider Rattler. Carr is doing very well with the Saints so he may be their starter for a while, so they may be more willing to trade Rattler.

I'm not too impressed with the QB draft class for next year. I would rather trade back our 1st round pick for more picks and go BPA. Continue with the rebuilding process, and if Rattler or whoever doesn't cut it, then hopefully Manning will be the guy in 2026. And Tepper has to back off with any decision making.

Yeah my crazy theory is Canales, Morgan, and Tillis watched the film and read the locker room.  They saw a team giving up on a player and frustrated with his production.  Seems like a pretty easy decision from there...

The idea that Bryce and those close to him consider his benching as “out of nowhere” tells me all I need to know about the mental makeup of that young man and those who raised him. Another entitled athlete bites the dust

I mean, from the standpoint that his HC point blank addressed the topic to the masses yesterday that Bryce is their guy and starting vs the Raiders.....today was in fact out of nowhere.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
