I think everyone in the NFL is aware that every week is a business decision.  Comments like these are not generally motivational.  The buck stops at the podium he was standing behind.  he is communicating with the team through the media.  In my view, LV looked unprepared and not that good.  Crosby was dinged and we saw how good they are without his pressure.

I get it--and he is right--but he is not building by attacking--as good as it makes you feel at the time.

I enjoyed listening to him though. Takes me back.

They surely do communicate through the media at times, it's a good tool. Usually to build them up. I hear that all the time.

The play on the field will keep the brown bags out of the stands.

There are 5 levels. 1. Trophy 2. Cheers 3. Boos 4. Brown bags 5. Empty seats.

The team is always in control of their product. The fans will always be a true gauge of that product. Champions own that accountability and love their fans for speaking truth about their team.

The talent is there and the coaching is proving they can protect the teams weak spots.

I thought pierce coached a horrible game. Two plays in particular stand out to me. The first was when he ran the ball on 3rd and 7 then went for it on 4th and 3 and failed. The second was when they hurried to the line to run a sneak on 4th and more than a yard instead of lining up to run an actual play. Neither of those made any sense to me.

I always wondered who the fugging nerds were that put brown paper bags on their heads to watch a game? My guess is they have never played a sport in their lives beyond middle school or rec league or they double down and use those paper bags when they get home to put over their ugly chick's faces before they bang those sows.

At 1 time fans of the Bucs and Browns wore paper bags on their head at every game. They were terrible teams and it went on for several decades. Count your blessings that we have avoided a long stretch of continuously bad football in Carolina. But Tepper still had time to completely destroy this franchise. He's trying his best to do it with his own meddling in the football decisions. If he would just sit down and enjoy the ride he would look better.

I love the trenches, my faves are Derrick Brown and Robert Hunt.

If you can't win at the line of scrimmage then the rest simply doesn't matter.

Someone on here use to have the entire oline in their sig, I think it was @Mr Scott, the big uglies or something like that.  I always thought it was cool how they acknowledged a group that generally don’t get much acknowledgment

My son recently starting playing OL in 7-8-9 yo league and I'm helping to coach the lines. They don't have enough players so most of them play both ways. My first lesson and something I continue to harp on is the importance of winning at the line of scrimmage. It's a warzone and those battles determine the outcome of the war.

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
