Ikem is not a good tackle, but he does not deserve blame for that play

He did his job on that play.  Dalton had plenty of time to step up in the pocket.  He didn't sense the pressure and you can tell he didn't by how he reacted after he released the ball.  He had no idea someone was behind him

LOL…Huddle already back to doom and gloom after 1 TD.
All or nothing thinking is a common cognitive distortion that involves viewing the world as a binary. It divides experiences into categories of either “black or white” and “right or wrong.”

It's early, and we look demonstratively better than we have in a long time. Even with a depleted defense. This is a must win for Bengals so we knew we would get their best shot. Let's just see how it plays out... right?

Johnson is open on damn near every play. He just gotta catch the ball.

pretty much. He couldve caught both a TD and a very long pass that coulda led to another TD or a FG instead of an interception that followed it.

IIRC his reputation in Pittsburgh he was known for dropping balls at times. So this should not be a surprise, actually.

    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
    • Definitely epic tv..... A man who wont cheat for a poke dont want one bad enough.
