Don't know if Ickey Is ever going to turn into that franchise left tackle we want him to be. If guard isn't an option you might try him at right tackle, or if one of our current guards can play that spot then move Ickey to right guard.

I've pondered Hunt as a left tackle but I don't know that he's ever played that spot and it's no guarantee he'd be just as good. He's got the build for it, but that doesn't really ensure anything.

Bozeman is an absolute turnstile. Corbett is an upgrade, without a question. However he is also dinged up a lot so you need a second option. Also, he's 29 so maybe getting a future guy(like maybe Zach Frazier in the 2nd round of the 2024 deaft) is a good idea.

I guess I am just not seeing the issue with Ikey at the moment. He's solid in pass protection and dominant in the running game. What did you want? Trent Williams? That isn’t something you are likely to get unless you draft that guy. Joe Alt maybe? Okay, well then draft another LT with this future top 5 pick.

Hunt to LT definitely does not seem like a great idea. He is a true guard, IMO. I don't think he is a guy that is going to excel at that.

Bozeman was a bulldozer as a run blocker. Plus he knew his assignments and the position.

To be clear though, I don't so much have an "issue" with Ekwonu as I just wonder whether he's being put to his best use.

Bozeman was seen getting ragdolled far, far too often in pass protection. That isn't something we have seen with Corbett at all.

Sure Ikey might be better at guard but if he is an above average LT(and he is playing like that) then why does that matter? Moton isn't an elite RT nor has he ever been. Is there any reason to move him?

Ranking the best NFL rookies after Week 5

2. C Zach Fraizer, Pittsburgh Steelers

PFF Grade: 81.8

Frazier is getting better with each passing week. He is now the fourth-highest-graded center in football, as he has earned an 81.8 PFF grade through the first five weeks of his career. His run-blocking is where he has really stood out — his 83.1 run-blocking grade ranks fifth at the position through five weeks. 

3. WR Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers

PFF Grade: 81.6

McConkey’s 82.0 PFF receiving grade currently ranks tied for sixth — with fellow rookie Malik Nabers — among all wide receivers. He has averaged 2.10 yards per route run, picking up 176 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 15 receptions.

I promise if you placed boz between hunt and lewis, he would have played better. There was only like 50,000 saving to his release. I thought you keep him as a backup and if he wanted his release, take a paycut. Same for bell.

Icky isnt in my top 20 issues, glad hes looking like he belongs.

Well he is the 31st rated center out of 35 on another good OL in SD.

The truth is he wasn't a very good center, hence why he was released by Baltimore.

I'm not ready to give up on XL by a longshot.

But the Center position....

With what we invested in the oline in free agency it sure would have been nice to have a great young Center on a rookie contract for whomever the QB is next season.

With running backs most teams are saving those selections for the mid rounds.

Hell we missed out on another olineman a few years back to draft a long snapper.

Morgan drafts like Fitterer as of right now. He better hope Brooks is one of the best backs in the league by the end of next season.

      I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
