Failure begins at the top, success starts at the bottom. You have to draft properly to fix this. But you can't when you have a failure as an owner.

And you have to stop picking up JAG free agents, like Wonnum,  that know they can come here, contribute absolutely nothing and still collect a check.   All of these paycheck vets that come here know that they can just say, "something doesn't feel 100%" and they can sit on their scamming @sses and contribute nothing. Been happening for years now.

Was visiting my parents and helping them with stuff.  Turned on the game and watched the pick 6.  Turned it off and went back outside to enjoy the weather.  This isn't worth our time folks.  Its not a matter of being a good fan this just isn't worth the time.

The most upsetting thing for me while at the same time I think there is hope is we just got boat raced by a team that was us, not just last year but they have been us for years. Last year they were getting destroyed with the wrong coaches and QB. I am not saying they are SB contenders but within one year they have turned it around and are easily beating bad teams. They have now not just boat raced us but they beat the heck out of the Cards and Browns as bad as they beat us.

You can turn it around quickly but you have to get real football people in the building. Is Tepper capable? is the question.

Washington got something last year that played a big role in their turnaround: New Ownership

And this is what the Panthers need. Tepper is the root cause of this mess.

Does Wilks still have the best record in Tepper's era???

Depends if you're going off win%, total wins, or what.

In Tepper era:

  • Rivera 12-16
  • Rhule 11-27
  • Wilks 6-6
  • Tabor 1-5
  • Canales 1-6
  • Reich 1-10
  • Fewell 0-4

The funny thing is that Tepper fired Ron at 5-7 which would be considered amazing by today's standards.

Oh, OK didn't know that. I knew they signed outside GM and new coaching staff.

Browns, Lions, etc. At their worst (back in the day), weren't this bad. Any team you can think of, wasn't this bad. Excellent way to lose an entire fanbase.

They are much worse then last season, which hurts to say. Watching this every week, numbs you to the point of total indifference. Being the league punching bag every week.....is demoralizing.

You ain’t seen nothing yet

There's a very big component you're missing regarding their turnaround. You probably already know, but if not, I'll let you figure out what that is.

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
