Jaycee Horn post game confrontation with Sean Payton

This is just more shame on the team.  Yeah the situation sucks, the best anyone can do in this situation is work on themselves, the team is a disaster.  It's still very much an individual opportunity though and part of that is being a professional.  Jawing with an opposing coach after getting run through is not professional.

running up the score?

the panthers have lost by 2 scores or more in every loss this season. does he realize how hard it is not to run up the score on them?

i don't blame sean payton. if i get the chance to practice some plays in a live game when i have no chance of losing, i'm pulling the trigger. it's not my fault the opposing team sucks so bad that i can score without even trying.

It was a bush league move. Payton still hates the Panthers and this is an extension of that. You don’t compete like the Saints and Panthers did during the Brees era and forget about the intensity.

Horn is quickly becoming my favorite player. He loves football, he loves competing and hates losing. You can see it. Alpha. This team needs his veteran leadership in the worst way.

having the nuts to confront the other team’s head coach, regardless of the validity of his argument… LOVE IT.

I have changed my stance. Please resign him if it’s do-able.

If WE ran up the score (lol, like we could do that), the Huddle would be fine with it. I have zero problems with teams scoring until the last second. I do it in video games lol! Players like to score. Each player gets paid a nice little paycheck. There need not be an ounce of sportsmanship in instances like that. Oh, we're up by 30 with a quarter to go? Ok, we'll just run it each down, do a three and out so you can get the ball back. Fans will love it!

I actually like the defenses response when Payton pulled that crap. They  finally got pissed and stopped them for once. It was too late by then but it's a positive reaction. The offense actually responded with that last TD. And believe you me Payton didn't take his foot off on this team. He hates Tepper as much as we do. He wasn't going to let the Panthers score again.

    • That zone was so soft that 3 guys were bearly on the screen. No rushing called. Playing off the line 10+ yards. Yeah that's garbage time. It took an onsides kick to make them try to play D again. Until then they didn't care and still wouldn't play real D against Young until they absolutely had to and that was with backups in the backfield. Slow start is freaking hilarious. He was gifted the lowest effort a bad team can give and still couldn't put anything together for 1 freaking series at the end after 2 quarters of warmup ball. It was like watching someone stretching for an hour and then pull a hammy after 10 feet of running.
    • On the subject of Reich and him being no good as a coach, because he wouldn’t change everything he did to accommodate Young. He wanted to sit Young. He knew what Young was.  But to the point, was Andrew Luck a good QB under Reich in Indy? Most people don’t hesitate to say yes. Well, Luck thought enough of his coaching to bring him to Stanford.  There is a bona fide NFL QB that seems to dispute the painting of Reich as a incompetent and the reason for Young’s shortcomings.  Yes he got fired. It appears as if Tepper and Fitterer forced a QB he did not want on him and poisoned the well right from the start. I don’t blame Reich one bit for being pissed either.  And I wasn’t a Reich guy I wanted Wilks. I accepted the Reich hire but never lobbied for him.  Just saying he is being dogged here unfairly.
    • I think its a mix of both. Bryce being too small and offense is too vanilla. Plays arent creative enough. Most are slants, fades and runs. But even Baker and Sam had to deal with vanilla offense and looked horrid. Thats why I say it's a mix of both.
