They have a rookie QB who is better than Bryce but still a long ways away from running up the score. Felt like they took their foot off the gas early to me because of that. I have no idea WTF Horn is talking about.

Yea, they let off the gas in what seemed like the 3rd qtr. They definitely could’ve dropped more than 28 and held us under 14 points.

I was a bit shocked since it was Payton. What did they say? 150 some yards in garbage time? Same old story.

People are getting twisted about the term running up the score, but what he’s talking about is still running trick plays and trying to run up the score. Their offense wasn’t good enough to actually run up the score and Horn did what he could to prevent it, but the backup defense were having to start now and the jv QB giving them the ball back so quick gave the Broncos every opportunity to keep trying to run up the score. Payton is a mega douche and does things like this specifically to be a mega douche.  I appreciate Horn’s leadership and standing up for his team.

Man some of yall don’t make a damn bit of sense.  We got a guy showing some emotion like he actually cares about this flaming dumpster fire and you wanna say some dumb poo like “nOt A gOoD LoOk”

I respect the energy but it is a bad look when preventing scores is literally your job. This is our top player on defense mad they didn’t go easier on him.

I have a very odd feeling we are about to trade Jaycee.

This is the healthiest he has been in a while, he is playing well. I would prefer to keep him if he can stay like this but something tells me Morgan is about to ship him away while his value is high and he is healthy.

Payton is a douche.  Lots of old clips of Brees having to talk Payton into football etiquette back in the the day.  Brees ain't there to do that no more.

But I actually don't like Horn fussing about it either to Payton.  Fuss at your locker room.  That's how deserves it.  Your teammates.

You don’t know that he’s not.

Fast foward to Dallas, they essentially lean into the same game plan against the Cowboys and I think everyone was surprised by how quickly it started to look complimentary.  In my opinion the productive offense really helped the defense as well.  We played quite solid against a top offense. Finally we make our way to the Jets and Bills, Chubba's return.  You can't say the low scoring affair and return to ineffective football against the Jets was all on Chubba, they were indeed a better defense and so was Buffalo.  But the production difference between the two backs in both games was both visually and statistically obvious.  The bigger picture is the offense took a major step back as well.  They are other moving parts and it's isn't all one thing, BY9>Dalton by a decent margin at this point.   But yeah, Rico's vision and athleticism is just better than Chubba and it jumps at you.
    • First day in 3 weeks my pain started to dwindle just a tiny bit.  Got switched from hydrocodone to post-shingles pain patches.  My insurance refused to pay for my patches as I’m too young for shingles per them.  I also need a prescription to get shingles shot and insurance also won’t pay for it even thought I just had shingles and in high risk to get it again.
