They gotta learn to just send XL to the corner and let him go up and get it.

And don’t throw it in the stands.

Yeah I don't get why they don't run him off a rub, fade to the back pylon and go play basketball for it. I know he's done well on those in-cuts in the RedZone but let him go play physical for it sometimes.

He had to jump for it

momentum is not a difficult to understand concept

Those balls are thrown TO be jumped for. It's how you deal with coverage and put the ball in a place it won't be picked off. It wasn't so high he had no chance or something, he just can't catch for poo.

Im Not saying tremble doesn’t suck, just that sanders wasn’t going to bring that in in bounds either

I think they are fairly different on the physicality front so a lob from prime Russ is not the same IMO. He played baseball and could have been drafted. I can't stand him but he definitely had a knack for some wild throws.

The thing is, Bryce isn't just throwing up prayers in the throw people are talking about. He threw to a specific place on the field for JT and it was like a 30+ yard gain. Bryce has had some awful throws before but his passes have been largely on target today (and he's definitely stretched the field). JT was NOT injured in that play either. He was injured in a later play where he fought for an extra few yards and lept someone, got spun out of bounds and landed on his head 😞

He saw a receiver running up the line with defenders backs turned and lobed it up giving his guy a chance. That’s a good play right!? I mean if we’re looking for progress it’s there. That’s better than the alternative.

To be very honest, it looked like young was trying to throw the ball away and it didn’t get there

just as lucky it didn’t get intercepted

    • To be clear, I am not advocating for drafting a WR.  As for the OTs we have met with--I am not sure how or when or where and whether or not that even matters. I can say this about OL:  Those tackles would not play much (unless there is an injury and Fano is probably going to be a guard.  Lomu seems to have slipped a bit (based on the perspectives of crackheads who publish on the interweb or broadcast from their pods.) I like Lomu.  I like Proctor--I think he is the #1 OT but the weight (he was 390) scares me.  Imagine him with $10m in his bank account at the gas station when the 16-pack of Reeses Peanut Butter Cup is right below his fingertips at the counter.  NOOOO! Blake Miller might be the most practical option, to be honest. I watched his vidoes for several minutes (not to exceed 10 because my father played for the Gamecocks when I was born) and I was impressed.   At 19?  A bit rich, but we don't know what the GMs know.   Bryce's contract is another issue.  If they decide to give him a bag of money (suicide hotline 1-800-JUMP), they are going to have to part ways with some vet contracts.  Moton, Hunt, and Lewis come to mind.  Ickey could be gone too.  So....I assume we will have a starting center by next year...
    • My original post :  Yeah man we are in better shape than the bulk of the teams in the league.   There is no goal post moving.  We have a top 15 wr room.  We have an absolute stud and a high floor guy.  Not sure why you are disparaging our guys,  So now for the offense to be unlocked we need a speed guy playmaker, this is insanity
    • 1st round WR again. This will be so great.  Imagine if we had a QB worthy of all of this. It might be something.
