Great opportunity for the other RBs on the roster. Chuba's the starter going into 2025 and Brooks is likely going to be starting on the PUP again. The question mark will be what the team decides to do with Miles Sanders and his contract. If somebody can show out these final weeks they might be able to sneak on to next year's roster.

The Panthers announced that they have signed RB Mike Boone and QB Jack Plummer to their active roster.

They placed RB Chuba Hubbard and CB Chau Smith-Wade on injured reserve to create room for the signings.

In a corresponding move the team elevated DL DeShawn Williams from the practice squad.

Panthers confirm and add: After Friday’s practice Hubbard complained of pain, and an MRI Friday night revealed a Grade 2 calf strain, which would have kept him out of the final two games.

May be a blessing in disguise. Let Chuba's last play of the season be a walk-off win.

Bryce also showed up on the injury list this week. Probably a precaution, especially when we're also down Moton. Not overly confident about the O-line holding up, especially if our other backs do nothing and our defense gets eviscerated early.

We traded multiple picks and players to get a guy who we originally thought was a franchise changer. Why would we not expect something? Not a good sign if we dont

I think he has a good game. The narrative is changing enough that teams don't feel as confident stacking the box against #9. If they would have announced this earlier, I'd feel even more confident that they'd mostly ignore the running game and focus on shutting down the pass.

Shot called....Boone is going to feast.  He's going to go over 100 yards, not just barely.  I won't go as bold as 150, though.

Rattler looked like Young did in their last game against the Packers. If I was a betting man I would pick the Raiders after that performance. It was as bad of some of Young's games last year.

It's a calf strain, probably would have kept him out a game if it wasn't the end of the season. Might as well IR him and get another roster spot
