We could have had irving without trading picks. One of my top rbs in that draft, I wasn't even interested in Brooks like that because of the injury. Another case where you hate you were right about something because I had to hope Brooks could stay healthy.

The reason is that NFL talent evaluation is a crap shoot. There are busts and steals in every draft. Always has been, always will be.

      I've been low-key keeping that kicker battle in the forefront. There certainly seems to be more misses than I'm used to (hell, Joe Person feeling the need to clarify), but it is practice, and I guess the skinny posts are skinny for a reason. There could be a better name, by the way. What about "precision posts?"

      Typical of bigger WRs. KB was similar in that way. I think T-Mac is faster than KB but definitely doesn't have KB's physicality. He definitely has the better natural hands though KB was one of those odd guys who seemed like his hands got better the harder the catch was.

      Madden ratings have always been silly.  I haven't played in years but they used to just tank young players' "awareness" rating (whatever that does) to stunt their overalls down to the 70s.
