The Single Most Cold Blooded Moment We've Had Since Superman Was Here

only a fool could watch yesterday and not see hope, I still have my doubts but one thing about the nfl if the other team doesnt have it (IE the falcons) and the opposing qb sees it (IE Bryce) and applies pressure then that is a great trademark to have.  A lot of times guys will simply play down to the competition but he didnt do that yesterday.  If he did and went out there and played a stinker then this offseason would be much much different.  As I have said for the past month hes played his way into 2025.   Whether he elevates his game to get the 5th that remains to be seen.  But yeah he beat the brakes off of a shitty and uninspired falcon team.  Kudos to him

Imagine if we'd traded him.  If we'd given up on him after a cluster of a rookie season.  God forbid, what if we'd traded him to the Saints for a 4th round pick and he started playing like he is right now.

The fact that Bryce was able to overcome that rookie season and everything that's been thrown at him is truly a testament to the young man's character.  I think that approach, attitude, whatever you want to call it is a big factor that separates him from his peers and will be something people point to if/when he reaches his potential.

I think it is one of those moments that we will all look back on and say, "that is when the boy became a man."  Happened to me in the drive through lane at a Taco Bell.  Can't tell you the rest.

I told my wife I wasn't the only person who mistook the "Fiery" packet for single use KY before...

Not even kidding, this was just exuding confidence and swagger.  I mean, this was the guy that in week 2 legitimately looked like he was gonna cry on the field, Fast forward to Week 18 and this dude is doin this.  There's no way to explain how good of a job Canales did coaching Bryce up this season.

Lol...

That reminds me of the Xclown pic of Smitty celebrating the walk off TD against the greatest show on turf infront of all the salty rams fans

Nowhere near important, but still cool , fear the reaper!!!!

It's funny the goal post has "Choose Love" , and I'm sure all the pigeon fans in the stadium hates Bryce Young in that moment

I'm suddenly in the mood for some Blue Oyster Cult.

Bryce ripping a field throw on 1st and 25 and hitting an absolute dot for a first was cold as fug too. Also throwing the ball well before people are open, sheer anticipation. Bryce is really trying to be that guy and I'm here for it. Hope he continues working and comes out at this level next season. I need dawg Bryce for 18 weeks.

After rewatching, that was actually THE throw for the game. Very low rate of a first down conversion at 1st and 25. I believe there were 6 minutes left in the 4th. We punt there and Falcons win. Guaranteed.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
