Anyway, back on topic, my confidence with Canales is probably at 8 out of 10 with my only real complaint being his playcalling

Good first year. Five wins beat my expectations for sure (as well as the bookies’). I’m hopeful for the first time in years.

Canales 100% deserves a second season. A 3 wins improvement next season would be excellent.

I'm about where I am with him as I am with Bryce. Sometimes I think he's got it and sometimes I don't.  But lately I think it just might work with the two of them and they can win a lot of games if Morgan can build a team around them.

I wanted to see guys improve as the year went on, mainly on offense

improved QB play

emergence of Sanders at TE and Coker at WR

 

Pretty happy with him as a coach, hope he keeps it up.

The head coach builds the culture--I like the positivity--lotta ups and downs during a season, and football is very mental.  Bryce fed off the positivity, I have no doubt.  We finished the last 9 games 4-5 and almost beat KC, Philly, and TB during that stretch.  You can SEE when the players started buying in.

I’m still sticking with what the first 16 games said vs giving the last game insane weight.  I still would like Canales to hire an OC to call plays and not pull double duty.  That Falcons game was just too weird it in terms of them not getting any pressure at all in that game…everything going to come up Milhouse! when there is that little pressure in the NFL.

I think he's a good rah-rah coach.  He struck gold with the OL coach though. If this OL played like they did last year there would have been little noticeable improvement.

Could easily see it going either way moving forward. We finished on a high note but it took a looooooong time of looking like a raging dumpster fire to get there.

7/10 on Morgan. 

Need to see them both with a full offseason. Don't want to hear poo next season about defense if Morgan dumps a bunch of assets into it. Evero better do something with it or I'm going to blame Canales.

Knowing who to hire for your staff is part of being a head coach.
