And there's some that want to cut Moton lol

I don’t think anyone wants to cut him really based on my post. The thing is, the team will very likely not accept the 31 million dollar cap hit and will have to make a tough decision on him. I agree 10000000% that we need to keep him and give a 2/3 year extension

The average American reads at an 8th grade level. I imagine it’s lower on this board.

George Carlin said (paraphrasing) "The average American is pretty stupid.  Half of them are stupider than that."

So if you are one notch above stupid, you are "above average."

Reading is not the issue--it is the the inability to apply reading comprehension skills that bothers me.

I realize that you were kidding because I have 8th grade reading comprehension skills--but there are some very intuitive posters on this board--people who look at alternative perspectives and are able to discuss alternative viewpoints without grabbing their nuts and getting pissed because someone disagrees with them.  For those folks, they WISH they were on an eighth grade level.

I laughed when I read this, but not out loud.  LBNOL!

Give him the extension then draft a tackle in round 3/4 to learn behind moton.

I fixed the problem now and in the future.

Yea they could give him a 2 year extension or so and save around 12m and let him retire a panther.

It’s very encouraging that most of Dan Morgan/Brandt Tills transactions so far, have had positive results.

- UFA (Clowney, Wonnum, Jewell, A’Shawn Robinson, David Moore, o-line signings)

- TRADES (Michael Jackson for LB Barrett was a stroke of genius, 4th rounder for Jonathan Mingo was brilliant)

I'd say the only real downside is that this unit can still get manhandled by superior defenses. Not a big need for major improvements, although more depth would be welcome.

I'm not against throwing a draft pick a possible upgrade if there's one available in the draft. Especially center or tackle.

    • Jack Roslovic: Only 2 other UFA, right-handed centers age 28 or under had more points (39) than him- Sam Bennett (51) and Pius Suter (46). There were 4 other centers age 33 and older who scored more: Gireaux (37), Marchand (37), Tavares (34), Granlund (33).  Unless the Canes go old, if they let Jack walk, they won't get a center who scored more.  Thoughts?
    • nope     This is why we come back every year.  Hope springs eternal
    • It's important to differentiate criticism and hate. I can't speak for that individual you quoted. But most people who have been critical of the Tepper's have been so because both of them have made it a point to put themselves front and center and in the middle of team operations and we have been largely horrific more often than not as a result. If people are making derogatory remarks about her that should be met with an appropriate response but if people are being defensive just because she's being criticized all I can say is people should get used to it. Both her and David would have been getting absolutely skewered by the media and the fans if this were a big market franchise. The Lakers are finally being sold off after years and years of public criticism of Jeannie Buss and even though I'm the furthest you could go from being a Lakers fan just about anyone you could meet who is familiar with the NBA would say the criticism was certainly valid.
