Never understood how this guy made billions having terrible draft opinions

He is a fraud--we do better than him every year.

Jalon Walker is a player I like, but if you look at his body of work at UGA, he was not that effective in an edge alignment.  He can play all over--more Luvu probably than Parsons.  i am cooling on Walker for that reason.  Edge is deep in this draft, DT/NT/DE is probably next.  Regardless, Walker is a nice player, just maybe not a great fit.  I'd take the CB from Michigan instead of an ILB/OLB hybrid. If we don't re-sign Jackson, CB is a need.

People are connecting the dotes with him because he is from Salisbury.  He is good but not sure he would be the pick.  I think they might go OT.  I am seeing mocks with Jeanty in the top 8 which would be awesome

To who?

Only way I can see he goes Top 8 is if someone BADLY wants him and trades up to take him there, as there aren't any places that make sense for him.  Right off the bat, Titans, Patriots, Jets, Jags, Giants, and ourselves have starting RBs for next year so none of us are taking one in the Top 8.

That just leaves the Browns and Raiders who could potentially take him, and even then, there are going to be a lot of FA RB options this year, not sure either will pass on the other top talent to take an RB instead of signing one.

That would be a shocker (Yes, I went there), but OT is an area where you could reduce the payroll.  Imagine trading Moton instead of extending him?  Some will say, "but we need a DT and Edge and ..." and they would be right, but if you decrease the payroll, you can sign free agents.  I doubt it happens and I would be scratching my head because picking a T would not be a pick that was void of other dominoes falling for it to make sense.

Saints get Johnson, the cb, probably the safest pick in the draft.  He's an island.  Really hope they don't take him.

Falcons get 290 lb edge Shemar Stewart.

Bucs get Nick Emmanwori, a playmaker at safety.  I really wanted him but not in the first.

I'd rather have Johnson. At least that part of the defense would be fixed.

He was the very first person to truly become an NFL draft expert. He is not here because he is necessarily the best, but because he is an OG

I wouldn't say expert but he helped make the draft as big as the game for many.  No different than most of the garbage "content creators". It just needs to be consumed it doesnt need to be valid in order to serve its purpose generating revenue

That's an interesting wrinkle... and I can't quite shake that it could make sense. Still, I really want to see us grab LB in the first.

He didn't make billions lol

Despite the constant drum beat of Common Core Math, some folks still can't count lol.

Kiper just a name and entertaining presence.  No one cares about his accuracy, certainly not his bosses at ESPN.  He get's ratings and clicks.  That's all that matters to them.  The more outrage, the better.

As far as who the Panthers draft: it just depends on who the best player is to the Panthers.  Who has the most dawg in them so to speak.  It's about building the team culture and making improvements.  I do enjoy the draft hysteria, the melodrama is so delicious.

I mean at that point just take Will Campbell. I don't think you necessarily need to settle at the edge position in this class, it is very deep. Snagging a ten year starter at the tackle spot who is a blue chip player is just smart. Him or Will Johnson make sense there if this is how it all plays out.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
